The EDIX Western Pad is a premium-quality, anatomically shaped universal pad made from original merino sheepskin.
This particular pad is brown, with brown sheepskin. The sheepskin is clean, however the color of the sheepskin is somewhat mottled. The sheepskin is in excellent shape, and it is very soft and thick.
It has 6 shim pockets, that close neatly with velcro. Included here are (6) front shims, (4) center shims, and (6) rear pocket shims. The shims are wool felt, each about 1/8 ” thick.
Wool has an antibacterial, therapeutic, heat- and moisture-regulating effect, improving pressure distribution and preventing irritation.
The cushion is made of quilted cotton, with a high-quality genuine merino fur underside. Where the rider’s leg rubs during riding, it is reinforced with nylon to prevent wear.
This is a size large – a little over 30″ long.
