Duett Companion 2 Foxhunter A/P Trail English Saddle – 34 (wide), 17.5″ seat, brown leather
This is a really nice used Duett foxhunting/all-purpose/trail saddle designed to fit the wider, flat-backed horse. Duett Saddles are made on a hoop-style tree – better for horses with flatter withers and a more rounded shape.
This saddle is not the latest version and does have some wear on it from fun rides on trails next to a barn in New England. Please look at the photos. It does have some wear on the side panels. The billets are all solid. It has been re-flocked since it was in use. The leather is nice and conditioned.
It has velcro on the inside panels so you can attach knee blocks and/or calf blocks. It comes with all 4 blocks, plus 4 plain leather covers which go over the velcro if you are not using the blocks.

The FOXHUNTER is a variation on the Companion trail model. This saddle is useful for trail riding, since it has:
- same comfortable padded seat as the Companion
- great for long hours in the saddle
- removable knee and calf blocks with velcro covers
- all purpose depth of tree
- flap is all purpose profile but 1″ more forward than on Companion model
- short billets
- two D rings on right side of seat
In a gorgeous, rich brown leather, it has the right look for foxhunters, or for trail riders who want a more traditional style.
